About Me
I am a writer, editor, and occasional teacher and filmmaker. I earned my MFA in creative writing from George Mason University, where I was the 2020 - 2021 nonfiction thesis fellow. I was the nonfiction editor of So to Speak journal for two years. My writing has been published in JMWW, Ligeia, Door Is A Jar, Grub Street, Full Stop, and the So to Speak blog, and featured in the Memoir Monday newsletter. I live outside of Washington, D.C., where I'm working on my first book. When I'm not writing (or reading, or working), I'm probably watching The X Files, cooking something with tomatoes in it, or trying to make ceramics.
